Recently, the Industry and Information Technology Department of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region issued the Notice of the Industry and Information Technology Department on Publishing the List of Leading Industrial Enterprises in Guangxi (Second Batch), announcing the list of 82 leading industrial enterprises in Guangxi. A total of 15 enterprises from Nanning, including AAC OPTICS (Nanning) Co., Ltd. and Ruitai Precision (Nanning) (Nanning) Technology Co., Ltd., two subsidiaries of AAC Technologies, have entered the list. Up to now, three subsidiaries of AAC Technologies have been included in the list.

The list is mainly developed to accelerate the fostering and growing of a group of high-quality leading manufacturing enterprises featuring outstanding main business, strong core competitiveness, and driving effects, carry out the campaigns of “Strong Enterprises with Annual Sales Volume of More Than CNY 10 Billion” and “Enterprises with Annual Sales Volume of More Than CNY 100 Billion”, which are meant to foster large enterprises and groups and create a new legion of leading enterprises. Based on enterprise scale, innovation abilities, manufacturing level, tax contributions, industrial chain driving abilities, social responsibilities, and other indicators, the Industry and Information Technology Department will adjust the list entries dynamically.

In recent years, AAC Technologies has set up five precision manufacturing projects and ASEAN R&D centers in Nanning Economic and Technological Development Zone, Nanning High-tech Industrial Technology Development Zone, and Nanning Heng County to manufacture products for micro-acoustics, precision optics, electromagnetic transmission, MEMS semiconductors, precision structural parts, and other fields.
At present, AAC OPTICS is accelerating projects for optical modules, optical transmission, and more in Nanning, developing R&D and production of optical modules and upstream and downstream components. It is also constructing optical technology innovation and application research institutes and bases for achievement transformation, incubation and training for talents of the optical industry, etc. Among them, the Nanning Optical Module Project is the optical project integrating the industry, universities, and research in Southwest China with the largest investment.
