AAC Technologies showcased its smart automotive revolutionary solution at the exhibition, which combines multiple automotive systems for audio, haptics, image capture, and MEMS sensing and interaction.

Drawing on its 30 years of expertise in consumer electronics acoustics, AAC Technologies applied its technological advantages in speakers to automotive audio systems, attracting significant attention to its exhibited automotive speakers and amplifiers.

  • AAC Technologies’ 3060 ultra-slim speakers feature small size, high sensitivity, and wide frequency response, allowing them to be flexibly embedded in tight spaces like headrests and ceilings while maintaining a high-quality audio experience. The Vibration Free Woofer (VFW) 160, with its thin design, can improve door resonance and sound leakage issues in cars, significantly enhancing low-frequency performance. The miniature speaker unit is great beneficial for designing independent back chambers to meet the needs of sound field layout in compact car interiors
  • The 20-channel external amplifier products adopt a lightweight design, strong heat dissipation, and fast response speed, while delivering high performance with a maximum computing power of up to 2,000 MIP. They support various audio algorithms, effectively enhancing the upgrade of the cabin audio experience.

In addition, AAC Technologies showcased automotive-grade linear actuators and automotive haptic button demos in the haptics module, providing customized vibration feedback in smart cabins for switches, panels, screens, and more. In the voice collection module, AAC Technologies presented products such as the 4-microphone array voice module, emergency call (E-call) microphone modules, waterproof microphone module, and road active noise control (RANC) vibration sensor module, covering most automotive voice applications to enhance the voice experience for drivers and passengers. In the automotive imaging module, products including front-view lenses, surround-view lenses, in-cabin lenses, LiDAR receiver lenses, and AR-HUD were all unveiled to provide precise raw data for machine vision, empowering smart driving.

XR Acoustics-Optics-Haptics Full-Stack Solution Debuts Overseas

AAC Technologies showcased its highly-anticipated 3P VR pancake optomechanical module, which has successfully entered mass production. This module boasts five major advantages: slim design, wide field of view, ghosting suppression, electrical diopter adjustment, and clear edge-to-edge image quality, delivering superior visuals and a more comfortable user experience. In response to the market demand for 4K displays, AAC Technologies is soon to unveil a cutting-edge 1.35-inch Micro-OLED display with a large FOV of 115 degrees and an ultra-short 17.4-mm TTL curved surface lamination module. In the field of AR displays, AAC Technologies, in partnership with waveguide manufacturer Dispelix, has jointly developed a single layer optical waveguide lens that strikes a balance between lens thickness and high image quality, delivering clearer visuals and a thinner and more immersive wearing experience.

Furthermore, AAC Technologies presented important technical solutions such as the near-ear privacy acoustic solution and adaptive trigger solutions. Demos of AR glasses and audio glasses were also showcased, attracting numerous attendees to experience the cutting-edge technologies firsthand. At CES 2024, AAC Technologies presented a variety of acoustic solutions for smart devices, including the Opera coaxial speaker, innovative acoustic solutions for foldable screens, a two-in-one product, the Combo, which integrates a speaker and an actuator, as well as multiple SLS speakers. The live demonstrations at the event showcased the aesthetics of sound for mobile devices.

In the context of miniaturization in high-fidelity technology, AAC Technologies has introduced the Opera coaxial speaker for smartphones, along with related algorithms. This advancement aims to enhance the audio experience of mobile devices by delivering higher audio quality. Additionally, the innovative acoustic solutions for foldable screens enable a versatile stereo sound experience for foldable devices. Whether in the unfolded state (landscape and portrait) or folded state (landscape), users can enjoy excellent stereo sound. The high-quality haptic experience demonstrated by the OnePlus 12 received unanimous praise from users at the event.

Today, AAC Technologies’ RichTap® integrated software and hardware haptic solution is seeing increasing coverage on smartphones, allowing exhibitors to design vibration effects using the RichTap® Creator tool.

Furthermore, AAC Technologies presented the RichTap® haptic game controller solution and demonstrated the RichTap® handheld game console solution for the first time, offering a breakthrough in gaming experiences beyond two-dimensional sensations.
