PSS, a global premium audio supplier, unveiled its high-performance speaker matrix—redefining automotive sound systems through cutting-edge technology, superior quality, and space-efficient design. AAC introduced innovative USS speakers, combining compact form factors with ultra-thin profiles to empower OEMs in overcoming spatial constraints. AAC’s proprietary amplifier solutions debuted, delivering robust performance through lightweight designs, multi-channel output, high-power capacity, and advanced thermal management. AAC’s LYRA Acoustic Simulation Solutions integrates AI and CAE to achieve exceptional simulation speed and precision, enabling acoustic excellence.
Pioneering software algorithms address auditory challenges.
AAC’s debut of innovative in-vehicle acoustic algorithms showcased multiple features:
🔸Near-field Surround Algorithm: Our advanced solution optimizes speaker design, audio processing, and sound field integration to address common limitations in headrest audio systems—such as rear-biased sound fields, weak surround effects, and privacy concerns—delivering immersive, personalized audio experiences for every passenger.
🔸Content Separation Algorithm: Leveraging neural networks, this technology separates music in real time into multiple tracks, such as vocals, percussion, and bass. It applies various post-processing algorithms to each track based on the context, enabling enhanced vocal and bass quality, real-time karaoke, spatial audio, and 3D sound functionalities.
🔸Independent Sound Zone Algorithm: Based on our proprietary headrest speaker system, this AI-controlled algorithm enhances or cancels audio in targeted zones, allowing for independent audio playback in multiple zones without interference and significantly improving sound quality throughout the cockpit.
🔸Adaptive Transparency Algorithm: This algorithm allows the vehicle to “hear” by dynamically sensing and accurately filtering out external sounds. It passes through critical external event sounds (e.g., sirens, horns, and human voices) to ensure safe driving while keeping drivers aware of their surroundings.
🔸Exterior Sound Algorithm (Outdoor Mode): In camping mode, the vehicle’s external speakers play stereo sound, further enriching users’ music enjoyment in outdoor scenarios.
Additionally, the echo cancellation and noise reduction (ECNR) algorithm is designed for in-vehicle Bluetooth calls, effectively eliminating echoes and background noise during conversations. By utilizing a microphone array to precisely locate sound sources, the system enhances focus on the speaker in front, improving clarity for calls and voice recognition. The NLC PRO algorithm intelligently enhances speaker hardware performance, delivering dual improvements in audio clarity and richness for an exceptionally vibrant listening experience.
Audio Demo Vehicle and Listening Room,Experience AAC’s Acoustic Expertise
At the exhibition, the “AAC ✖️ PSS Next-Generation Mobile Concert Hall” demo vehicle showcased our innovative acoustic algorithms alongside AAC’s proprietary sound effect algorithms. Featuring an industry-leading system architecture with 59 acoustic units and 51 high-performance speakers, including cutting-edge Immersive speakers, this demo vehicle is powered by three self-developed 20-channel amplifiers to deliver exceptional surround and stereo sound. Attendees were impressed by the outstanding audio experience.
In the listening room, a variety of high-performance PSS speaker products were on display, providing participants with an opportunity to experience superior sound quality. The event also featured the smart AudioBox, a versatile portable HiFi speaker, along with products from our partner brands, Devialet and Sennheiser, highlighting AAC’s comprehensive presence in the automotive acoustic sector.
Innovative Haptics, Optical,Sensory, and Motor Systems
The automotive haptic feedback system enhances both safety and 4D driving experiences.
AAC introduced the industry-first RichTap array vibration seat solution, integrating haptics with acoustic technology for lane change alerts, navigation, collision warnings, and entertainment scenarios. The live vibration seat demo immersed attendees in an exhilarating 4D driving experience. RichTap’s intelligent surface vibration solution addresses the challenges of suspension structure buttons with the innovative MMC algorithm, providing customized tuning and enhancing interactions within intelligent cockpit environments.
Automotive optical systems illuminate smart driving.
AAC showcased various intelligent driving and cockpit camera systems, covering applications in ADAS, surround view, and interior monitoring, enabling vehicles to better sense and recognize their surroundings for safer driving. Notably, the AAC ADAS cameras leverage our proprietary wafer-level aspheric glass (WLG) technology, which meets unique design requirements while offering superior optical performance, enhanced product precision, and stable quality.
Additional products using AAC WLG technology, including aspheric lenses, array lenses, and cylindrical mirrors, were also showcased, demonstrating their applications in automotive projection, intelligent automotive lighting, and AR HUD systems. These components provide high precision and stability, resulting in improved conversion efficiency and high-definition optical effects. The exhibition also featured diffuser components used in AR HUD systems, manufactured from automotive-grade materials and semiconductor processing techniques, offering superior temperature resistance and optical performance.
In-vehicle sensory system enhances intelligent cockpit and driving capabilities.
The exhibition featured a range of automotive-grade microphone array products, jointly developed by AAC and its subsidiary First Light Auto. These include interior A2B microphone arrays, eCall microphone modules, exterior microphone modules, and RNC vibration sensor modules, all designed for various applications such as sound pickup, road noise cancellation, and emergency calls. AAC also presented its fully self-developed and domestically produced MEMS inertial sensors and IMU chip modules, which deliver high-precision positioning and navigation capabilities across all scenarios and conditions. This ensures a smarter and safer driving experience for users.
Automotive motor systems facilitate quiet, comfortable journeys
AAC proudly presents its comprehensive automotive motor systems for the first time in the market. In the chassis system segment, AAC showcased the EMB brake motor products developed in collaboration with industry-leading partners, setting a new benchmark for performance. Additionally, the EPS steering motor features self-manufactured magnetic steel and exceptional noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) characteristics, providing solid and stable support for the chassis system. In the body system category, AAC introduced its brushless wiper system products, which offer high EMC ratings, low noise, rapid response times, and excellent waterproof and dustproof features. These products align perfectly with the industry’s shift from brushed to brushless systems, incorporating intelligent control switches. In the cockpit system category, the brushless motor for long-slide rail seats featured remarkable NVH performance, achieving the best-in-class standards. With high integration and compatibility, it contributes to creating a quiet and comfortable cockpit environment, enhancing the smart and flexible driving experience.
