The world’s first NLC low-frequency algorithm provides 100% improvement in low-frequency clarity

AAC has customized the SLS ultra-linear speaker and developed the NLC low-frequency algorithm for the OnePlus 9RT, forming a full-stack digital audio solution. The SLS ultra-linear speaker installed on the OnePlus 9RT has a maximum amplitude of 0.5 mm, which is more than 40% higher than conventional speakers of the same size. The speaker significantly improves bass detail and achieves better low-frequency performance. AAC’s NLC low-frequency algorithm reduces outgoing distortion by accurately modeling the superimposed control signal, so that the output sound of the audio system is always close to the source, reproducing the real sound.

An R&D engineer from AAC explained that low-frequency, large-amplitude sound emitted by a mini speaker often has a degree of distortion, which in turn affects sound clarity. To provide users with a better listening experience, AAC has analyzed the working mechanism of speakers, refined the model, and developed the globally exclusive NLC low-frequency algorithm through big data from the precision manufacturing process.
