AAC Technologies Kicks off Micro Precision Component (3D Glass for Mobile Phones) Project

On February 12, AAC Technologies launched the micro precision component project at the site of the Jiangsu Construction Commencement Ceremony 2017 (Changzhou Branch).

With a total investment of RMB 12.8 billion, the micro precision component project (3D glass for mobile phones) of AAC Technologies boasts the largest foreign-invested manufacturing project in Wujin District, Changzhou City. The annual sales after reaching the designed capacity is expected to be up to RMB 15 billion. With a planned land area of 306,667 square meters and a designed annual capacity of 100 million pieces of 3D curved glass and 12 million units of micro precision components such as metal radio frequency modules, the project will manufacture products widely applied in high-end mobile phones, tablets, and wearables. The annual sales after reaching the designed capacity is expected to be up to RMB 15 billion.

Pan Zhengmin, the CEO of AAC Technologies, said this project will integrate the R&D resources of AAC Technologies to build an R&D and industrial base featuring China’s best R&D environment, world-leading equipment, internationally top-ranking and innovative talent pools, and the fastest technology commercialization.
