In the morning on September 12, the 14th China-ASEAN Expo cum China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit kicked off in Nanning International Conference and Exhibition Center. The event was jointly presided over by Chairman Chen Wu from Guangxi Autonomous Region and Lin Yu, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade of Brunei, the country of honor. Zhang Gaoli, Member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and the Vice Premier of the State Council of China, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a keynote speech.
As the 50th anniversary of the establishment of ASEAN, this year marks the deepened construction of the “Belt and Road” initiative and tourism cooperation between China and ASEAN. Themed “Jointly Building the Marine Silk Road in the 21th Century and Promoting Economic Integration with Tourism” to discuss plans for exchanges and cooperation, this event will play a significant role in the construction of the China-ASEAN community of shared destiny and the promotion of the regional economic integration.

In the afternoon, the Nanning Municipal Party Committee and the Municipal Government held the Nanning Investment and Trade Fair 2017 cum the Major Project Signing Ceremony to cordially introduce the investment environment, development opportunities, and key investment fields of Nanning. We would like to share these opportunities with all of you to seek cooperation and development, and sincerely hope entrepreneurs keep a closed eye on, support, choose, and invest in Nanning. Nanning will implement more proactive and open strategies to serve domestic and foreign entrepreneurs who invest in Nanning. Efforts will be made to build a more accessible, efficient, and better investment environment to aggressively boost investment and cooperation projects as well as corporate development.
